Loved it! They had great portion size and it's a good price as well. I go there continously and take my grandmother. We eat in, but while inside there are many take out orders. The parking is also not the greatest as its limited, but well worth the food.

Happy Garden, what can I say, it is the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. We arrived just before dinner on Saturday Night, about 4:30, so customers had not come in yet. The place is tastefully decorated, simple in design but fresh and clean. No blaring TV screens or radios. We had an excellent meal of pot stickers, spring rolls,mu shu chicken and mu shu pork. The pot stickers tasted like they had just made them fresh. They were tasty, tender, and not overloaded with ginger. They were not oily and the wrappers smelled good. The spring rolls with egg, were crunchy, hot, and the shredded cabbage inside was still slightly crunchy and oh so good. The mu shu tasted freshly made and came with the freshest pancakes I have tasted in years, like they had handmade them just for us. The Entire meal made me feel that everything was made to order, not pre-cooked in huge vats to be dumped on whatever plate is ordered. Service was sweet, fast, and very attentive. The next time we want Chinese food, we will drive the 20 mile round trip to eat there. I have eaten in a lot of Chinese restaurants in Sacramento, and Happy Garden is incredibly tasty.

It's a great Chinese restaurant. Not real large but has excellent food, with quick service. My favorite is the General Chicken with Chicken or Pork Cow Mein.

Great tasting food and service. Prices are really good too and they have lunch specials. The egg flower soup is the best I've tested anywhere.
